Twisting in the mind like a broken dream
Chained in the endless void,
Kiss me, Kill me.
A trill upon the wind of time
Sacrifice for another day.
One more word
Just one more word.
Soft against the sky
A bird sings a final raphsody
There is fantasy in the melody
As though this life doesn't truly exist.
Whispers echo through the trees
Before the pour of rain
Reminding me of you.
So kiss me, Kill me
Send me into obscurity
For my jaded view
Knows only love
For you and thesee dreams
Which will always be mine.

I wrote this in 2004 sometime. Those angsty teen years are the kind that I miss for poetry, because the angst was justified. You're a teenager for crying-out-loud. What's more justifiable than that? Ah?
